Letter, 1818 Sept. 12, from Noble at Tuscaloosa Falls, Tuscaloosa Co., Ala., to Samuel B. Bidgood in Jackson, Clarke Co., Ala., describing his journey to Tuscaloosa. Noble details his experiences on the trip, his judgment of the town, its population, the value of its real estate, and the possibilities for growing cotton and corn. Noble also mentions friends in St. Stephens and Jackson, both in Clarke Co., Ala.
